AI Enablement Specialist
About Us
At Baysora, we partner with boutique tax and accounting firms to protect what makes them unique while fueling their next chapter. Backed by patient family capital, we take a long-term approach that prioritizes people, culture, and client service. Joining our team means being part of a network that values autonomy, invests in growth, and creates clear pathways for future leaders.
About the Role
Our thesis is that AI and better data create value at a firm when the people doing the work understand them well enough to apply them themselves. This role spends most of its time working alongside tax and accounting professionals, building with them, and then turning one firm's win into every firm's practice. You will not be sitting at a desk waiting for tickets. You will be in firms, in rooms, with people who are curious, busy, and occasionally skeptical. You will report to the Director of Technology & AI and work directly with firm partners, managing partners, department leaders, and staff across our operating firms, as well as with Baysora leadership.
What's in it for you:
Flexible work environment (Hybrid)
Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits package
401(k) with employer match
Unlimited PTO
A supportive culture to allow you to live a fulfilling, happy, and impactful life
Key Responsibilities
Team and Individual Working Sessions
Sit with one person or a small team, map how they actually do their work, and find where AI changes it — moving from opportunity to working solution inside the same engagement.
Build what the work needs: prompts and Skills, projects, automations, scripts, document and workpaper templates, light integrations.
Education and Training
Deliver AI training alongside our Director of Technology & AI — full-firm, department and service-line, and new-hire onboarding — tailored to the audience.
Run the existing curriculum and improve it as tools change, and build a library firms can use without us in the room: recordings, quick-reference guides, skill libraries/repos, short how-to videos.
Data and Reporting Maturity
Get clean, reliable, timely data out of the systems firms already run — practice management, time and billing, GL, workflow tools — support onboarding onto our KPI dashboard, and automate the monthly reporting staff assemble by hand.
Raise data maturity behind it: consistent definitions and coding, fewer spreadsheets held together by one person's memory, and firm leaders using reports to make decisions rather than just receiving them.
Case Studies
Turn one firm's win into every firm's practice: document the problem, what was built, what it saved, and what it took — written for a practitioner at another firm who needs to reproduce it, not a marketing summary.
Distribute actively to firm leadership, cross-firm sessions, and the annual partner summit, then close the loop — track which firms picked it up and go after the ones that haven't.
The AI Matrix
Build and maintain our internal map of each service line end to end — process steps, current pain, what we've tried, what worked, where it's live — kept current as processes change and new capability lands.
Measuring and Reporting Impact
Capture a baseline before an initiative and a result after — hours, cycle time, capacity created, error rate, realization — and feed it into firm and board reporting.
Required Skills:
1 – 6 years of professional experience with demonstrable hands-on fluency with current AI tools, including Claude, ChatGPT, etc.
Strong experience leveraging data and data analytics to drive business decisions.
Proven experience as a coach or teacher with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to prioritize
Ability to accommodate 20% or more travel (majority of travel in Northern Utah)
Preferred Skills:
Accounting, tax, or professional-services background.
SQL, BI tooling (Power BI, Tableau, Looker or similar), or experience building reporting out of operational systems.
Familiarity with practice management, time-and-billing, or workflow platforms used in accounting firms.
Experience delivering training or facilitation to non-technical audiences.
