Job Summary

Seasonal part-time position, providing administrative and accounting support for the preparation of clients’ tax returns, bookkeeping, and associated systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of individual and business income tax returns, including data entry, document management, basic tax research, and other associated tasks.

• Support the development of accurate and appropriate recording of clients’ revenues and expenses through the use of industry appropriate and authorized AI tools.

• Maintain client confidentiality, adhere to privacy and data security standards, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Requirements

• Education: Current enrollment as a junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program majoring in Accounting, with a demonstrated interest in tax, or a graduate student actively pursuing an advanced degree in Accounting or Taxation.

• Coursework: Completion of individual or business tax courses at an accredited institution.

• Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

  • General software and computer hardware skills is required.

  • Adobe Acrobat experience is preferred.

• Schedule

  • 20 hours minimum per week, February 1 through April 15. (Daily schedule based on availability.)
